New Music Friday: Dirty Heads, Spoon, and More

February 24, 2017

This week’s new releases brought to you by the Dirty Heads, Spoon, The Dirty Projectors, and Thundercat.

Today, the Dirty Heads released a four-song LP, Dessert.

The LP is comprised of a few tracks the band recorded during the creation of their self-titled album, which was released last year—so this LP is like a little dessert after the main course, if you will. Dessert was a nice little treat, especially since fans didn’t see anything coming until the band suddenly promised new music a few days ago.

I know you’re already aware of this one, but I can’t get enough of this funky Spoon track “Can I Sit Next To You.” Let’s have one more listen, shall we?

Other music out this week comes from Thundercat and the Dirty Projectors. The former released a new album today, Drunk, while the latter released their self-titled album this week.
